Rob, (if you read this) I am a very big fan of yours. Bought your book and am reading it every night…Ok, I was wondering if you could tailor some videos at some point with very basic lights (3 lights & umbrellas) and show us what you can do with them for us just starting out and no softboxes and no expensive stuff…Thanks…a big fan

those lights are flash units; they have 2 lamps; 1 that is “always” on to model the light; and a second that is actually the real flash. When he shoots, all the lights “flash”, not just the one on camera.

i´m less than a noob in this, i would like to know if using flash doesn´t ruin the light setup?
