Photography books with posing ideas?
How to layer in digital photography?>>Shay posted:
I have recently taken up digital photography and I was wondering if there are any good resources for posing ideas for weddings, seniors, children etc. Surely there must be something out there that professional photographers use.
For instance, when I go get my hair done they have books filled with hairstyles, don′t photographers have these to let their clients pick out poses they like? I understand that most photographers use pictures they have taken, a portfolio, but where do they get ideas?
Thanks!

I found and purchased about ten of them from Amazon. There is one “artists” book, just on poses and body positioning.
I am not in my office or I would give you their titles and authors. I would guess you could just do a search and find them that way. Photo, art and photo-art would be a good start.

You can try this website it has a lot of books regarding children through teens and family posing ideas. They may even have one for seniors but it is a good palce to start
