configuration of lenses for digital SLR camera, for intraoral photography?
Lighting Techniques>>Ihavewhatuwant asked:
I own a canon eos400d. I am a dental surgeon and need to take intraoral (Photos of teeth inside the mouth). I am thoroughly confused with the range of lenses avaliable. Which macro lense can serve my purpose? Need detailed guidance.

The nikkor 60 millimeter AFS will definitely help you. You can order one from nikonusa.com . However, you need to check with cannon for the lens mount.
If you will be photographing dental curvatures, then I suggest, you consider building a white box. This will make sure that you get enough light to reflect into the mouth. Using a flash is definitely out of contention.
Since you will be shooting dark areas, I suggest you configure the camera manually. Keep the shutter on for about 10 seconds to ensure your lens captures enough light.
