No, this camera has a resolution of 1080p while then camera you refer to has a resolution of 720p.
We do have other 1080p cameras on our site if you are interested in one.

Is this true 1080p or is it just 1080i? Because most camcorder companies say 1080i is full high def. If it is 1080p, congratulations on making the worlds 2nd 1080p consumer camcorder!

They have since changed the specifications in the details on there webpage from what was there when I left my previous reply, so I am guessing it was simply a typo mistake that they have since corrected and that it is actualy 1920×1080.
