Digital Camcorders – Firewire vs USB
RCA Small Wonder Digital Camcorders>>JeffBT posted:
live.besttechie.net – Ralf asks when buying a digital camera is firewire or USB better? Typically, I recommend you buy a DV cam with firewire capabilities as today’s cameras can store so much video, when transferring it using firewire would be much faster.

Jeff,
You should point out that Firewire camcorders won’t work on the new Aluminum MacBooks. (they don’t come with Firewire anymore).
Many people were upset about this.

Great Vid Jeff. I havent switched over to firewire yet, but when I do perform a computer upgrade, I’ll probably jump on board.
