I am trying to migrate to digital photography from film
and would like to get some pointer which note book Computer to buy and how much to spend. It is so confusing due to the changes in digital media and PC. Since external hard drive price has fallen so far! Do I need to order a biger internal hard drive with my note book or small one and get the external hard drive. I am
in portrait photography.

I have some experience using a DSLR, learinging from books/internet. But I want to attend a class to see what I am missing. Are there any classes around DC Metro area?

I have a solid understanding of most of the technical aspects of photography (aperture, shutterspeed, controlling your exposure, depth of field, etc.), but I could use some artistic guidance, like composition, lighting, etc. I use a digital SLR and am primarily interested in outdoor photography.
