Trying to find a wedding photographer is huge responsibility and job. There are several things to take into account when trying to make this important decision. The photographs that you get from your wedding day will be some of the most memorable moments that you. The photos will be on your walls for the rest of yourlife. One very obvious factor in deciding which photographer to choose is price. A lot of photographers will charge you a certain price for a specific lenght of time for the wedding. It is important to know up front what all is included with that
price. When it comes to finding a wedding photographer, the biggest upside to pricing is there is a lot of competition. Don’t forget, a lot of photographers will negotiate their price to fit what you need.

Another thing to take into account when deciding is how much experience does this person have. Is this their firs big wedding job, or have they done a few dozen or more? Their price might be an indication of how many years they have been in business as well. Now just because someone may have a lot of experience doesn’t guarantee they will be better. Sometimes those people that are just starting out and trying to build a name for themselves will turn out to be excellent. The advantage of a person like that and going with them is you know they are going to give it their best. When you are trying to find a wedding photgrapher, you will find photographers of different levels of experience. When you do an interview of prospective photographers, it will give you a sense of what it will be like when you work with them.

A final thing for you to take into account when trying to decide is the personality the photographer has. Are they going to call all the shots and make all of the poses? Or are they going to let the bride and groom make some decisions? The other thing to think about is do you want to be the one to make the decisions on the photos. The bride and grooom will have enough worries the day of the wedding. Take these factors and consider them when you choose your photographer. The things to think about when you’re about to take on a photography career is how to do it in a legitimate way. You want a business that will last a lifetime so you want to start it out right. So don’t fall for the “get rich quick” internet schemes or books that claim they will spill the insider secrets of other successful photography business. You can accomplish the first five of these practices by going to school and working part or full time in somebody else’s photography shop. You may whelmed at the idea of more school. But your photography business will be about more than just cameras, photo shoots and dark rooms. You have accounting principles to comprehend and execute, taxes to be paid, a facility to rent, employees to pay, insurance to worry about, contracts to sign and all of that other “stuff” that goes with running a business. So start early and get some basic business classes under your belt such as accounting and economics. It will do you and your business a lot of justice

Many trades have an apprentice system where you tutor under a master of the craft. But it might be a good thing for you to take this matter into your own hands. Plan to work as an assistant for a portrait studio long enough to learn the ins and outs of running a small business and of running a photography business. This gives you the chance to build your knowledge and exposure to equipment, learn technique and how to work with your subjects.

In fact, it might be a good idea to deliberately apprentice at a number of different types of photography studios before launching out on your own. So you can learn the ins and outs of wedding photography, baby photography, fashion photography and others from specialists all before you spend a dime of your own money to start your own enterprise. In this way, you build skills, you build knowledge, you build experience and you can watch and take notes of the great things others do and the mistakes to avoid.

Your employers will be thrilled to share their old stories and experience with you if you are open to them that you want to learn from the masters how to do this with the goal of becoming their competition in the future. Above all, you can build a client base from the many customers you work with before you start your own business. Buy taking care of someone else’s customers, they can become your customers when you launch your photography business. And that is good business.

Here are some ideas to help you get  fantastic photographs  using your canon wide angle lens. These lenses are great to capture a wider field of view in your photographs. The subject may be the image′s focus; however, by using this wide angle lens, you can make good use of the background in the picture to add interest. This way the picture will capture a larger story instead of just a photo; for example, in a picture of two children playing on the beach, you may have captured a small fishing boat going past in the background.

With regards to the larger lens, the wide angle lens gives you a stronger depth of field. This is great in that it will not only give you a foreground and a backround, you will also have a much better chance of keeping everything focused. On the other hand, if you were using a bigger lens, you would have to have the aperture more closed. This would produce a slower shutter speed, and also the neccessity of a tripod. This would increase the set up time. With all that extra work, the depth of field may not have the strength it would have with the use of a wide angle lens.

The best thing about using Canon wide angle lenses is that if you are taking photo shoots of such things as railroad tracks, a jetty, or anything that may stretch into the distance; the use of a  wide angle lens will really give you realistic photos. They will make a photograph where it feels like you can actually walk along the railroad track. The wide angle lens will give strong lines to the picture.

The wide angle lens also gives  another dimension to a picture giving the illusion that things at different distances are further apart than they actually are. Objects in front look smaller,while the objects in back seem much more distant.
